Richard Zapp, Game Designer, Wizards of the Coast
Richard’s passion is in using the physical platform trading card games provides to create environments where players can safely make mistakes, learn, and grow. He brings 10 years of game development experience, working with Wizards of the Coast, Bandai Card Games, and various indie outfits on design and strategy. He has also overseen a collegiate Esports department and has a 20-year background in competitive gaming. Richard transferred to gaming from academia and counseling where he developed strengths in data management, product and project oversight, and people development.
