You will be able to build your schedule with the GDC Mobile App. The GDC 2024 app will be available for download in Apple Apps and Google Play late February 2024.Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.
Chloe Appleby, Games Curator , Powerhouse Museum
Chloe Appleby is the Games Curator at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia and a board member of the Freeplay Independent Games Festival. She curated the successful Powerhouse Late x Gaming program that celebrated local makers and reinvigorated the Sydney scene post-covid. Appleby curated the display and acquired the game Queer Man Peering into a Rockpool.jpg by Fuzzy Ghost in the Absolutely Queer Exhibition, the first game to be featured in an exhibition at the Museum since 2014. She was part of the curatorium for the Good Design Award winning queer games exhibition, Pride at Play. She is leading the development and implementation of the Museum’s games strategy to embed games as a cultural medium into all aspects. Appleby’s work and community advocacy has been featured at SXSW Sydney, Games Connect Asia Pacific and various media outlets
