You will be able to build your schedule with the GDC Mobile App. The GDC 2024 app will be available for download in Apple Apps and Google Play late February 2024.Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.
Shayne Hayes, Associate Director, Video Game Initiative, Arsht-Rock Resilience Center
Shayne Hayes is the Associate Director of the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center’s Video Game Initiative. Shayne supports the Gaming Center of Excellence and works with AAA game companies and indie developers to implement climate resilience solutions in their games.
Previously, Shayne developed content for Minecraft: Education Edition that has reached millions of students, including the platform’s flagship series, Hour of Code. Alongside other members of the International Game Developers Association Climate Special Interest Group, Shayne co-authored the Environmental Game Design Playbook, a groundbreaking publication that equips game developers with the resources they need to design impactful games for climate mitigation and resilience.
