This full-day interactive workshop returns for the third time, streamlined and improved to teach teams and individuals how to integrate climate change and climate resilience messaging into their games. Through expert lectures and hands-on design activities, participants will both better understand the climate crisis and unlock their own superpowers as game developers, immediately applying new theory and practice to develop an original game pitch by the end of the day. Join us and become equipped to impact gamers and ultimately change the world with actionable design approaches.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the downstream impacts of the climate crisis on individuals, and understand approaches to build people's resilience to those impacts.
Participants will learn fundamental transformational design approaches and practice applying these approaches with guidance from the workshop leaders.
Participants will leave this workshop empowered with the knowledge, approaches, and processes necessary to add effective climate resilience messaging to their games.
Anyone making games in any role. Both individuals and teams are welcome to attend.
