You will be able to build your schedule with the GDC Mobile App. The GDC 2024 app will be available for download in Apple Apps and Google Play late February 2024.

Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.

Richard LemarchandAssociate ProfessorUniversity of Southern California

Richard Lemarchand is a game designer, educator, writer, and consultant. Between 2004 and 2012 Richard was a lead game designer at Naughty Dog in Santa Monica, California. He led the design of all three PlayStation 3 games in the Uncharted series, including Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, winner of ten AIAS Interactive Achievement Awards, five Game Developers Choice Awards, four BAFTAs and over 200 Game of the Year awards. Richard also worked on the Jak series at Naughty Dog, and helped to create the game series Gex, Pandemonium and Soul Reaver at Crystal Dynamics. He is now an Associate Professor in the USC Games program, where he teaches game design, development, storytelling, and production, and is creating games as part of the USC Game Innovation Lab. He is the author of A Playful Production Process, for Game Designers (and Everyone), published by the MIT Press in October 2021.
