Adele Cutting is a BAFTA award-winning audio professional with 20+ years’ experience in directing actors, audio direction, designing sound, music editing and casting and covering 'all things audio' across games, TV, installations, mobile, VR and Audio Drama. In 2011, Adele founded audio production company, Soundcuts Ltd, winners of both Develop and TIGA awards. Soundcuts work with clients across the UK and Worldwide examples include: Supermassive Games, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Stellar Entertainment, Interior Night, Fireproof Games and Microsoft. Before Soundcuts, Adele trained at the NFTS and worked briefly in film before spending15 years at EA, working her way up the ranks from Junior Sound Designer to Senior Audio Director, working on blockbuster titles plus well known cult classics Populous the Beginning and Theme Park World. Adele regularly sits on juries for various sound awards (BAFTA, MAS and the Game Audio Network Guild) and regularly talks at Universities and Game Industry events.

Mantegna, Micaela

Title: Affiliate, Video Game Policy Research

Known as the "Abogamer", Micaela Mantegna is a leading expert in the emerging field of video game policy, ethical AI, XR, and the governance of the Metaverse. An activist of gaming as an instrument of social change, she is co-founder and board member of Women In Games Argentina (WIGAr), a non-profit working towards a more inclusive gaming industry; and a Women in Games International (WIGJ) Ambassador. She is an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard, leading the Video Game Policy Group. Her research covers: *gaming and digital rights, *governance of virtual worlds and the Metaverse, *NFTs and artificial scarcity, *generative AI and copyright law, *ethical implications of AI, gaming, and XR technologies, *streaming as a negative area of intellectual property, *content moderation in gaming environments, *monetization practices, *games industry regulatory challenges. She holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property from San Andres University /WIPO, and a specialist degree in Computer Law from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) with a dissertation on ethical algorithmic governance. She is an affiliate professor of Intellectual Property and Innovation at Universidad de San Andres; the AI Governance and Ethics professor at the Center for Technology and Society (CETyS), and the recipient of the 2017 Google Policy Fellowship for her research on algorithmic governance. Due to her intersectional expertise on ethics, AI, Internet governance and innovation, she was invited by the Argentinian government to draft the chapter of AI ethics and regulation for Argentina's national AI Plan. An experienced public speaker, she has lectured at international conferences such as More Than Just a Game, RightsCon, AI World Korea, Vancouver Biennale, Internet Freedom Festival or MozFest; as well as being a media correspondent at E3, The Game Awards, GDC and other industry-related events. In 2016 she founded Geekylegal, an outreach initiative on topics related to law and tech policy explained through the lenses of pop culture. In one full circle moment of her career as Abogamer, she was chosen to be the face of EA's Mass Effect Community Tribute video worldwide, and a DEI speaker on the Xbox Series X/S launch event for Argentina. Her first book: "ARTficial Intelligence: computer creativity and copyright" is being published by CDyT, and she is currently finishing "I am not a Robot: AI for humans".

Singh, Nayana

Vuong, Karel
