Title: Sr. Concept Artist

Michael Eppinette is a Professional Creature Designer and Concept Artist who began working in the film industry in 2016. Michael has always loved creatures, both real and imaginary. As a student, he was a volunteer zookeeper at the Houston Zoo. Upon winning a creature design contest with the Stan Winston School of Character Arts during his final year of high school, he flew to Los Angeles to see his first creature design transformed into a 7 ft tall monster suit. From there, he was introduced to Alec Gillis at Studio ADI, who let him cut his teeth sketching for an early design phase of Shane Black's "The Predator". In the following years, he worked as a designer and modeler on many other properties and Studio ADI projects, including "Prey", the most recent installment of the Predator franchise in 2022, where he was charged with designing and modeling the titular monster. Since then, Michael has moved to the videogame industry as a Senior Concept Artist for NetEase Games, where he has continued to this day designing creatures, monsters and characters for fantasy and scifi properties.
