The 27th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA)

Lights, laughter, and legendary games: welcome to the biggest night in game development. The Game Developers Choice Awards are the premier celebration of peer-recognition in the digital games industry, honoring the creativity, artistry, and technological genius that push our medium forward.

Unlike other awards shows, the GDCA winners are chosen by the people who know games best: the developers who make them. Industry professionals from studios around the world submit and judge the nominees themselves, ensuring that every award reflects the real opinions and admiration of the game development community.

Join our host for an unforgettable night celebrating 2026's best releases across categories including:

  • Game of the Year
  • Best Narrative
  • Best Design
  • Best Visual Art
  • Best Technology
  • Best Debut
  • Innovation Award
  • and more!

Whether you're cheering for an indie breakout, a bold AA release, or a genre-defining AAA blockbuster, the GDCA is where the industry comes together to celebrate what makes games extraordinary.

Save the date, grab your seat, and get ready to celebrate the best of the best, as voted by the people who build the games you love.

Doors open at 6PM!
