ARM

Part 1 – Patrick Mendenall (Arm)

Our global research confirms that while AI adoption accelerates development, deployment is often blocked by hardware and software fragmentation and unpredictable performance. The core challenge isn't your vision; it is the cost of navigating platform-specific complexity. You need a stable foundation to focus on the experience, not the device. To support this, we are evolving the Arm ecosystem into an accessible toolbox. We are designing solutions like KleidiAI to help you ship games without low-level optimization burdens. We are advancing Frame Advisor and our RenderDoc extensions to unify graphics and ML debugging. Furthermore, we are enabling Neural Graphics pipelines to unlock visual fidelity beyond traditional rendering limits, focusing on engine enablement to ensure readiness.

Part 2 – Lukas Medek (Sumo Digital)

What happens when advanced neural technology frees up performance budget on mobile? You make room for real innovation. In this session, Sumo Digital showcases a new case study demonstrating how Arm's neural technology enables the team to push the boundaries of real-time lighting and visual fidelity on mobile devices. By offloading selected workloads to neural acceleration, Sumo's developers can reallocate precious performance headroom to explore cutting-edge Unreal Engine features, including Megalights, ray tracing, and Actor Sequences, all while maintaining smooth, playable performance on mobile hardware.

Takeaway

Attendees will discover how the Arm ecosystem is evolving to solve fragmentation and enable on-device AI. Learn how to leverage the "Accessible Toolbox" - including KleidiAI, Frame Advisor, and Neural Graphics - to create high-quality, predictable performance and deploy amazing games without the burden of low-level optimization.
