Monetization, especially in free-to-play titles, is a hugely important aspect of Live Service revenue generation. This session focuses on the monetization ecosystem and content design in 'Delta Force', specifically the foundational logic behind its cross-platform content structure and its innovative attempt to create its gameplay-integrated monetization, which benefits players' retention. At the same time, the 'Delta Force' team have also gained some novel insights through seasonal content cadence optimization. With some concrete examples, we will demonstrate our approach to establishing our IP value, involving players directly into the game and fueling social media virality.

Takeaway

Participants will learn actionable insights into how 'Delta Force', as a GaaS game, implemented framework planning for its commercial architecture and this framework was optimised. The session will also provide our approaches to consistently deliver novelty and delight to players by being reactive with cosmetic content production.

Intended Audience

This session is ideal for Game Designers, Systems Designers, Character Artists, Hard-surface Artists and other roles related to game content development, particularly those interested in FPS ecosystem and content pipelines, requiring no specialized prerequisite knowledge.
