There are countless ways to produce a game. The Game Production Roundtable aims to move the industry forward by creating space for producers of all levels to come together to share their experiences, discuss challenges they’re facing, and build relationships with their peers.

Each day, we’ll cover topics across the spectrum of production, loosely following the themes of Process, People, and Career. Potential topics include: Supporting team motivation and fulfillment through production, identifying when a process isn’t working, using scope and schedule as tools to make a better product, navigating changes to scope, cultivating team buy-in and ownership of processes, crunch, empowering the team, scheduling, advice for first-time producers, and how to continue developing your production skills.

Another component of the roundtable will focus on supporting the next generation of producers by allowing newcomers to ask questions that help prepare them for their production careers.

Takeaway

Attendees will walk away with expanded knowledge and ideas on the ways that producers across the industry grapple with various challenges, and will build relationships with other producers to further inform and support their craft.

Intended Audience

All are welcome. Producers of all levels of experience who are interested in contributing to the craft's pool of knowledge, and in building relationships with others in the craft will benefit the most. Other disciplines who want to cultivate a better understanding of production are also invited to attend.
