'Roco Kingdom': Crafting a Comprehensive Soundscape for Over 500 Creatures (Presented by Tencent Games)
In Roco Kingdom, there are hundreds of creatures called "Jingling" in various forms and types. How can we bring these Jinglings to life from the perspective of audio?
With an extremely large eco-system that had over 500 species with their own evolutionary chain, the audio team needed to conduct comprehensive sound design for them, including: Jingling voices with 19 complex emotions, Action SFX that matched all emotion movements, Riding SFX of complex motion forms, singing behavior, music designed for signature jinglings and more!
Under the design premise of such quantity and fineness requirements, Morefun studio audio team and POSTRED jointly built feedback pipeline and multi-layered soundscape to support all the creature audio design work. This ultimately boosted the efficiency and let the teams find the balance between width and depth.
