Marlena Abraham (they/them/theirs) is the lead organizer of Bit Bridge, a community of indie game developers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As lead organizer, Marlena works with the leadership team to coordinate events, manage communication networks, and reach out to local devs. During their day job, Marlena is a game designer at Schell Games where they build experiences for VR/AR, location-based entertainment, education, and emerging technology. They’ve directed projects (HistoryMakerVR & Mechanisms Phase I), released titles as line designer (e.g. LEGO BrickHeadz VR & WaterBears VR), and worked on a variety of projects that they can’t talk about in public-facing speaker bios.
