Iain Dodgeon is Director of the Science & Research Entertainment Exchange, a new centre of expertise being incubated at the Wellcome Trust, to support collaboration and exchange across research, social impact and entertainment. He pioneered its work with the games industry, supporting the development of many multi-award-winning games that engaged people with ideas in science and health, including 5-BAFTA winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and advising on the creation of Cannes Lions-winning citizen science game, Sea Hero Quest. Their programme of industry collaboration includes the Wellcome Screenwriting Fellowship in partnership with BFI and Film4, The Big Data VR Challenge with Epic Games, and Experimental Stories with BBC Radio 4.Tameem Antoniades co-founded Ninja Theory in 2000 and is the creative director behind Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and DmC: Devil May Cry. More recently, Tameem is the writer and creative director of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice which is Ninja Theory’s first self-published game tackling psychosis in collaboration with experts in the field. The game was met with universal acclaim and accolades including 5 Bafta awards.
