Paul J. Fischer is an Industry Solutions and Services Associate Manager on Accenture Federal Services' National Security Portfolio. In this capacity, he serves as the Senior Technology Advisor for the U.S. State Department's Global Engagement Center, leading the Department's efforts to inoculate vulnerable populations to disinformation using videogames. From 2020-2022, he co-led the interagency Cultural Antiquities Task Force, working to protect cultural heritage from theft, looting, trafficking, destruction, and climate change. Mr. Fischer's program design work focused on training and capacity building, public education and outreach, and promoting sustainable livelihoods. Mr. Fischer holds a BA in International Relations with a focus on Conflict and Security from The George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Development from Georgetown University. His graduate research focused on the potential of cultural heritage to promote reconstruction and peacebuilding in Yemen. Mr. Fischer was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco and speaks Arabic and Portuguese.
