Tyler HoffmanSound DesignerInsomniac Games

Tyler Hoffman is a sound designer at Insomniac Games. Before joining Insomniac Games, he studied music technology, focusing on sound design and classical saxophone. After university, he worked as an audio engineer doing music searches and edits for advertisements and advanced his sound design skills working on experiential theme park attractions and immersive VR content. Tyler is a PlayStation Studios Haptics specialist and sound designer. His focus on haptics for Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart generated many positive reviews, putting the game in contention to be the best "feeling" PS5 game of 2021. With Marvel's Spider-Man 2 having been launched, he hopes the same attention is given to the sound and haptic design in that game as well. Tyler is currently designing sounds and haptics for Marvel's Wolverine. Past credits include: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the award winning Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
