Laine Nooney, Associate Professor, New York University
Laine Nooney is an Associate Professor at New York University and a historian of computing and video games. They are the author of The Apple II Age: How the Computer Became Personal, co-host of the games industry podcast UNBOXING, and co-editor of ROMchip: A Journal of Game Histories. Their research examines the history of games, personal computing, and media industries, with a particular focus on how technologies, businesses, and institutions shape the development, circulation, and preservation of digital culture.
