Doug North Cook, CEO & Creative Director, Creature

Doug North Cook is the Creative Director and CEO of Creature. Creature is a studio and a label focused on releasing projects that are pushing the boundaries of design, storytelling, and technology. Creature’s first project developed by its internal studio, Starship Home, was nominated for both DICE and IGF Awards. Creature’s label also released Maestro (the Meta Quest App of the Year) and THRASHER (winner of Apple’s inaugural Apple Vision Pro Game of the Year) all in 2024. Creature represents a collective of 12 studios releasing projects across most major platforms. Doug is also collaborating with Regine Gilbert, faculty at NYU, on a book titled Human Spatial Computing that is being published by Oxford University Press in 2025.
