Katharina Tillmanns, Senior Researcher, Cologne Game Lab at TH Koeln
Katharina Tillmanns is a senior researcher, designer and lecturer for interactive immersive media at the Cologne Game Lab at TH Koeln University of Applied Sciences and a freelance experience designer and XR consultant for cultural institutions. A former co-president of the Games for Change Europe network, former director of the Notgames Fest trilogy (2011-15) and the current SomaFest, a festival about body-centric design in XR, she has been exploring and promoting the expressive qualities of games and other playful media as a means of art and activism for the past 13+ years. Katharina´s current research focus is on multi-sensory learning and expression in the context of XR environments.
