Kimberly Unger created her first videogame back when the 80-column card was the hot new thing. Today, Kimberly’s games investment and strategy role at Meta has her laying the foundations of a whole new way to play, funding and supporting games from new and experienced developers alike. She spends her day-job time in an MR headset, lectures on the intersection of art and code whenever the industry needs it and writes science fiction about how all these app-driven superpowers are going to change the human race. She is also the Phillip K Dick award winning author of The Extractionist and does not plan to slow down anytime soon..
