Sessions do fill up and seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to sessions that you would like to attend. Adding a session to your schedule does not guarantee you a seat.

Thomas WelshNarrative DirectorIon Lands

Thomas Welsh lives in Glasgow and is a games writer and a fantasy and horror author. He was the lead writer on Cloudpunk, and its sequel DLC City of Ghosts. He is the narrative director at Ion Lands, and heads a team of writers working on their next game "Nivalis", published by 505 Games. His first novel Anna Undreaming was published by Owl Hollow Press in March 2018. It was an Amazon bestseller and has won a few awards. He is an active public speaker on subjects like the publishing process, world-building in fantasy and horror and writing for games and interactive fiction. Thomas has written about games for Kotaku, You Died, Unwinnable Magazine and GlitchFreeGame. For his achievements in games writing, he was inducted into the fellowship of BAFTA and is part of the Scottish Book Trusts Live Literature Programme. Tom has appeared in interviews in mainstream media including ion magazine, The Daily Record, The Herald, The Student Association magazine, and on STV and Pulse Radio. He was the winner of the Elbow Room fiction prize for his short story And Then I was Floating and has been published in short story collections, including 404 Ink, Transcendent and Leicester Writes. His story Suicide Vending Machine was featured on the Pseudopod Podcast.
