Zak Whaley, Owner, Zak Whaley Consulting

Zak Whaley is a seasoned technology leader and the IGDA Board Chair. He also chairs the IGDA Engineering SIG to support engineers from various disciplines across the global game industry. Zak is a passionate technologist committed to developing best practices and tools for teams using cutting-edge technology. Previously, he was Engineering Director at PlayEveryWare, a co-development studio which supports titles like Among Us and Fall Guys and partners like Epic Games, Riot Games, and Crystal Dynamics. He also helped build an XR platform team at Magic Leap and is known for his steward leadership style.
