Marcus Liassides, SVP, Global Head of Digital, Mattel
Marcus Liassides is Senior Vice President and Head of Digital at Mattel, where he leads the company’s global digital strategy across licensing, innovation, and self-publishing. He and his team drive innovation, expand brand reach, and deepen fan engagement through partnerships, emerging technologies, and original digital experiences.
A proven operator and entrepreneur, Liassides built and scaled several media and technology businesses across streaming, advertising, and connected TV prior to joining Mattel. He previously served as President and CEO of Sorenson Media (acquired by Nielsen) and founded XUMO (acquired by Comcast). Earlier roles include senior leadership positions at Move Networks and Viant/Myspace. He holds multiple U.S. patents in streaming and advertising technologies and studied Computer Science at Loughborough University.
