Marcelo is an entrepreneur and lifelong software engineer passionate about startups, technology, and gaming. He started writing small Visual Basic programs at age 14 and has been building software professionally ever since. In 2012 he co-founded iugu, a fintech company that grew into one of Brazil's SaaS success stories. At GamerSafer, he has built the product twice over: first as CTO, rebuilding the platform from the ground up, and now as Chief Product Officer, where he leads the company's Trust & Safety and Games product portfolios. His work includes the trust and safety systems behind Minehut, the world's largest independent Minecraft server network, with roughly 15 million user-generated servers and over 7 million players, creating products that protect millions of players while building engaging gaming experiences and communities.
