Corazza, Stef

Stefano (Stef) Corazza is the Head of Roblox Studio, one of the most used 3D immersive content creation software tools in the world. At Roblox, Stef and his team are responsible for building a future that leverages machine learning and generative AI to democratize content creation on the platform, where anyone can create anything anywhere. Prior to Roblox Stef led a team responsible for building out Adobe's AR strategy. Under his tenure at Adobe, the company's 3D organization grew from three employees to over 200 people, making the 3D business one of the fastest growing segments at the company. Growth was driven by the Substance 3D collection of tools, which Stefano drove the acquisition of as board member and executive sponsor. Stef joined Adobe via a 2015 acquisition of Mixamo Inc, an online software platform for 3D character animation that leveraged machine learning to democratize 3D animation. Mixamo was founded by Stef (also led as CEO/CTO before its acquisition). Prior to Mixamo, Stef was a research associate at the Stanford University Biomotion Lab, where he developed markerless motion capture technology and won the Stanford-Caltech-Berkeley Innovators' Challenge in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Padua, a Master of Design from University of Florence, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Computer Vision from University of Padua, part of which was completed at Stanford University. Stef has also built art installations for museums and festivals in the past and founded the Festival of the Impossible, an immersive experience festival celebrating artists who are pushing past the boundaries of reality. Stef holds over 40 patents, the majority of which are in the animation and motion capture domains where he has published over a dozen peer reviewed papers and over thirty conference proceedings. Stef is involved as angel investor and startup advisor, notably in the past with Matterport (now public as MTTR), Artomatix (acquired by Unity), Evertoon (acquired by Niantic), and others. And he is on the board of Rokoko.

Crombecq, Karel

Karel graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and completed a PhD on computer simulation and machine learning at the University of Antwerp. Karel is an experienced game developer and senior graphics programmer with 10+ experience in the game industry, who released games on mobile platforms and consoles. He is currently the lead developer at Briganti.

Ding, Chenwei

Title: Senior Technical Engineer

Chenwei Ding is a Senior Technical Engineer of NetEase. He has participated in the development of recommender systems built in games such as a Chinese Ghost Story Online. With keen interests in machine learning, he has published academic papers at conferences such as Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS). And he also serves as a reviewer at the Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI) and the International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR). Elliston Ball, Simon

Varun Khare is a technology entrepreneur who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of NimbleEdge. Varun has worked on a wide variety of machine learning research problems across reputed institutions including UC Berkeley, Max Planck Institute, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and OpenMined, an open source community focused on advancing privacy-preserving technologies. Paul is a European technology and privacy professional at Fieldfisher and am an attorney admitted to the bar in California, New York, the District of Columbia (DC) and the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). His practice focuses on advising companies on data privacy and cybersecurity matters drawing on my international experience, having lived and worked in the United Kingdom, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the United States. Paul helps companies – ranging from startups to large Fortune 500 multinationals across a range of industries – to develop data protection and privacy strategies for new products and services. He advises clients on complying with evolving global privacy and data protection laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, as well as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar data privacy laws passed in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah. In particular, he advises clients in relation to their cutting-edge B2B and B2C offerings, such as connected products and services (Internet of Things) including virtual reality, mobile apps (including augmented reality apps), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) as well as cloud-based integrations. Paul also advises on cybersecurity matters, including on data breaches and incident response, risk assessments, policy development and compliance with industry standards, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Mason, Hilary

From 2009 to 2013, she was Chief Scientist for bitly, the popular link-shortening service, where she worked as Scientist Emeritus, advising a team that studies attention on the internet in realtime. Hilary is on Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business 2013 and 1000 Most Creative People in Business 2014.
